I was born and raised in Sayre, PA and graduated from Sayre Area High School in 1987. I worked for one year then enlisted in the US Air Force in 1988. I attended basic training at Lackland AFB, Texas.
After basic training, I entered the refrigeration and air conditioning journeyman course at Shepard AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas. Upon completing my technical school training, I was stationed at Eielson AFB in Fairbanks, Alaska as a HVAC/R technician, until 1992.
At that time, I was transferred to Falcon AFB in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where I served until March 1994, as a boiler and chiller operator. I was honorably discharged and accepted the Supervisor of Trades position at Elmira College. I spent six years in that position before accepting the Director of Buildings and Grounds position at Athens Area School District in September 1999.
I am an avid Dallas Cowboys, Penn State football and whoever is playing the Philadelphia Eagles fan.
