I was born and raised in East Smithfield, PA and graduated from Athens Area High School in 2010. From a young age I had gotten involved in construction and worked with my uncles who were electricians. Upon graduation I stuck with that, which led to starting my own business. While working construction I began a maintenance job with Guthrie in Sayre, PA in 2015.
I began in grounds maintenance and worked my way up through the ranks learning each facet of maintenance in a large healthcare facility. During my employment at Guthrie, I earned many certifications and put myself through college, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business. In 2022 I accepted the role of manager of building services, which granted me leadership of Guthrie’s main campus powerplant, maintenance department, the transportation group as well as oversight and maintenance of Guthrie main campus, rental properties, Big Flats Same day surgery center, and many other buildings and acreage owned by the organization.
In December of 2024 I left Guthrie and filled the opening for Director of Buildings and Grounds for the Athens Area School District. I still to this day work construction and enjoy spending time with my 4 children and wife, on our little 13-acre farm in East Smithfield. My hobbies are working on anything that I can get my hands on, teaching my kids everything I can, and learning new things. I value myself on being as well rounded in as many fields as I possibly can.
