The Pennsylvania Department of Education has approved the Athens Area School District for districtwide participation in the Pennsylvania Community Eligibility Program (CEP). This would expand free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2020-2021 school year.

You will need your student’s AASD ID#, which is their powerschool number that starts with “120….” At MY SCHOOL ACCOUNT, you can check your student’s balance, set up low balance notifications, and keep your student’s account current.

STUDENT CAFETERIA ACCOUNTS
(2020 - 2021 School Year) Students who owed money to the cafeteria account at the end of the last school year are still responsible for paying off the debt. Any money added to an account this year will first be used to pay off the old negative balance. As always, if you have a question about your student’s account, please contact the Food Service Secretary.
Cafeteria PAYMENT: You may pay by cash, check or on-line at My School Account. If sending payment to school with your child, please put the payment in a sealed envelope with the child’s name, date and amount of payment on the front of the envelope. When paying by check, put the child’s first and last name in the comments section of the check. You may use one check to pay for multiple students, but please note the amount to go to each student in the comment area of the check. Make checks to Athens Cafeteria.

SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM
The free summer feeding program is held locally at Sayre High School in Sayre, PA, about one mile from the AASD school complex. Free meals to ALL children ages 18 and under, no matter where they live or what their income level!
Yes, you can always choose to have your student get a bag lunch from the cafeteria to take on field trips. Lunches include a PBJ on wheat bread, apples, reduced-fat snack mix, milk or water and carrots. The charge is the same as a meal in the cafeteria, and goes right on your student’s account. Let us do the work for you!
PARTY IN SCHOOL
We can do this in all four of our schools! You don’t have to bring in anything – order from your cafeteria a week in advance! Click the link below – “PARTY FOOD ORDER FORM” for details. Your AHS student is turning 16? Have a birthday cookie served to him/her right in the cafeteria! Teachers, need a quick special snack for your class?
