About the Director of Special Services

Mr. Corey Mosher

Corey Mosher
Mr. Mosher entered education in 2005 while simultaneously working as a police officer.  In 2008 Mr. Mosher entered education full time as a math and science teacher in the Northern Tioga School District at Williamson Jr./Sr. High School. His experiences there led him to pursue a second master's degree in educational leadership and obtain his principal certification.  In 2014 he moved to Athens, PA and served as the Athens Area High School Assistant principal until the spring of 2016 where he assumed the position of high school principal.  Over his tenure at the high school he also completed his PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility.  In 2022 he transitioned to the Principal of Student Affairs and was based out of Harlan Rowe Middle School in Athens Area School District.  Some of his duties consisted of building principal, AP/Dual Enrollment, and District Safety and Security Coordinator.  In the spring of 2024, he transitioned into the role of Director Of Student Services in the Athens Area School District Administration Office and currently oversees all areas of special education within the district.  Mr. Mosher is also the vice chairman of PIAA District IV and serves as the volleyball chair and junior high sports chair since 2016.  He is married to his lovely wife, Ashley, and they share 5 children, Connor, Brodie, Kinley, Elliana, and Calvin.
