I am extremely excited to continue my professional journey in the Athens Area School District!  AASD has been home to me my entire life.  I have been fortunate to walk the halls as a student, play sports on our campus, work within the district, and now raise two of my very own Wildcats with my AAHS alumni husband.

As I move into the role of Director of Curriculum and Instruction, I am excited to bring my past experiences with me.  My time in the classroom as a high school teacher has taught me so much about our students, various learning styles and the abilities and the needs within our district.

I was blessed to spend three years of my career at Lynch-Bustin Elementary School as the building principal.  During this time, I learned so much about all that our early learners, their needs, and the experiences they are being provided.

I plan to use my love and passion for education and learning, as well as my time within the buildings, to help drive the Athens Area School District in the right direction and prepare our students for future success wherever the future might take them.
