Go Cats! I came to the Athens Area School District in 2014 as the AAHS Assistant Principal and in 2016 was fortunate enough to become the Principal. Prior to my time at Athens Area School District I taught math and science in the Northern Tioga School District. I also spent 14 years in law enforcement and in my last post, served as Chief of Police in Lawrenceville, PA. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Mansfield University, a Master’s in Education from Mansfield University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University, and a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Edinboro University. I am a life-long learner and feel very fortunate to live and work in such a wonderful community. We have been able to implement many successful district and building initiatives thus far in my career here, such as 1:1 technology, collaborative learning, and an emphasis on student achievement and growth. I am married to my beautiful wife, Aleisha, and have three wonderful children, Connor, Elliana, and Calvin.
