In light of Governor Wolf’s Stay-at-Home order issued
yesterday, we are still on track to distribute student Chromebooks and iPads on
Friday, April 3rd, from 12-4:00 at SRU. For the safety of yourselves and our staff,
we ask you to remain in your car at all times during pickup.
If you have not already arranged with your child’s teacher
to pick up their device, please call the school by tomorrow morning at 10:00 to
pre-arrange pick up.
Pick-up for students in grades 3-5 is from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Pick up for students in grades K-2 is from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Pick up will be in the main circle at Door 2 by the Harriet
Child lobby. Officer Shaw will be here
to direct you around the circle. Please
be patient with the process.
You will receive your child’s device, a power cord, and a
technology agreement. We will ask your
verbal consent to receiving the technology and we will sign a copy of the form
In good faith, the District is not charging for new
enrollments of device insurance. We ask
that you care for your school-issued device, report any damage, and return the
device and power supply as directed in future communication. If the device or power supply is not returned
the parent/guardian will be charged for replacement cost.
All devices have been sanitized and our staff will be
wearing sanitary gear for distribution.
We have worked hard to be prepared for you and will
communicate more with you as we begin online learning next week.
We love our SRU family and wish you all continued safety and
health. Remember, as much as possible
let’s stay home and stay safe!
