Keyboarding is one of the most valuable courses your student will take while attending the Athens Area School District. In the early stages of the keyboarding instruction, the demonstration method is effective because it can be used to show students the correct:
- Position at the keyboard
- Keystroking technique
- Space Bar technique
- Enter key technique
- Shift Key technique
- Tab key technique
In addition to basic keyboarding techniques, formatting of letters, memos, reports, tables and resumes will occur. Internet safety and Microsoft Word features and menus will be addressed.
