What we will be working on in February
Language Arts
Word work - vowel +l words
Reading - Our focus will be on comparing and contrasting, understanding characters, persuasion, and conclusions and generalizations. We also will be working on fluency through the "Read Naturally" program. Students will be working on skills based on instructional level.
Writing - We will be focused on Persuassive.
Math - Students will work on collecting, organizing, and interpreting data. They will also be working on adding and subtracting fractions>
Extended Thinking Skill focus - Inductive Reasoning
