January is almost over. I would like to welcome our new student teacher, Mrs. Kristin Malanoski. She will be with us until March 7, 2012. She will be teaching your children with me supervising her. I will also always be available to the children in the classroom.
Everyday Math: Please practice the following activities with your child!* Count orally by 2's to 40 * Count by 5's and 10's to 100* Write the numbers that come before and after a given number* Write tally marks for any number up to 20* Count nickels and pennies; *Tell time to the nearest hour; *Tel time to the nearest half-hour * Practice math addition and subtraction facts
